OPERA POWERED: Opera delivers the Web at IBC 2007

Opera Software, the only company that puts the Web on any device, will exhibit the latest in Web browsing technologies at IBC 2007. Opera's commitment to developing leading-edge browsing technology has put the company at the forefront in cross-platform browsing and enabled operators and manufacturers to offer customers new and innovative value-added services.
Based on the same core engine as the renowned Opera desktop browser, Opera 9 for Devices brings full Web browsing to set-top boxes, portable media players and other devices. Opera has partnered with some of the market leading silicon vendors and middleware, OS & service partners which include Nintendo and Sony to bring Web-based services and information to the masses.
Using Opera's proven, trusted and dynamic Web technologies, devices such as the Sony Bravia, Nintendo Wii and Archos 604 WiFi and 704 WiFi, are now powered by the Opera browser enabling end-users access to a seamless Internet experience.
Demonstrations at the Opera stand #5.314 in Hall 5 will include:
- Tilgin's Mood 400 IP set-top boxes showing Opera's Web UI/Opera 9 and Widgets
- Telsey's Opera-powered WAVES IP STB FS600 set-top box showing Web browsing
- Opera on Nintendo Wii
- A range of handheld devices including the Archos 604 WiFi and 704 WiFi, Nintendo DS and Nokia N800.
