Opera TV to exhibit latest OTT offerings and discuss OTT content personalization at IBC 2016

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - September 6, 2016

Who: Opera TV, market leader in enabling the TV industry's transition to over-the-top (OTT) experiences, will be showcasing the latest from the Opera TV product suite at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).

The company will demonstrate a brand new range of products including the new Opera TV Certification Program, designed to solve one of the biggest challenges facing OTT application developers and OEMs. Opera TV will also demonstrate the latest version of Opera TV SDK, a Chromium-based HTML5 rendering engine for connected TV devices, and Opera TV 2.0, an HTML5-based application platform providing tailored and engaging OTT viewing experiences. In addition to the demonstrations at the exhibit hall, Opera TV CEO Aneesh Rajaram will participate on a panel discussing customization of content and personalization of the OTT experience.
 
What: Leaders within the OTT ecosystem will participate in an interactive discussion panel that will focus on how the customization of content, personalization of the user experience, and learning the tastes and habits of each individual user are the key skills that all content distributors now need to master. The panel will also explore what multiscreen delivery really means for today’s media brands, broadcasters, operators and service providers.

The “Customization of Content and Personalization of Experience in OTT” panel will be moderated by Paolo Pescatore, Director of Multiplay and Media at CCS Insight. Panel participants include:

  • Aneesh Rajaram, CEO, Opera TV
  • Matt Smith, Chief Evangelist, Anvato

When: IBC 2016 Exhibition will be held September 9 – 13, 2016. Aneesh will serve as a panelist for “Customization of Content and Personalization of Experience in OTT” panel at IBC Content Everywhere Hub taking place on Sunday, September 11 from 1 – 2 p.m. CEST, at the Hub Theater in Hall 14.
