Driving further functionality for digitalvideo applications, Opera Software and Texas Instruments Incorporatedannounce the availability of the Opera browser for DaVinci technology.DaVinci technology is an integrated system of processors, software, toolsand support so developers can more easily create a range of innovative,cost-efficient digital video products. With the full-featured Operabrowser, TI DaVinci customers can now bring the Internet along with Weband AJAX applications to a wide variety of devices, including VoIP phones,digital cameras, set-top boxes and portable media players.
Recognizing the increasing importance of a browser on consumer electronicdevices, TI selected Opera due to its unmatched Web browsing andperformance on any device type, with any input device and any screensize. With this addition of a Web browser to the DaVinci technologyoffering, customers are able to create more advanced applications andfunctionality on multiple devices.
