Interactive Designer

Location(s): New York

Opera Mediaworks is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Interactive Designer who can share our passion for creating engaging and brand consistent mobile campaigns. The Interactive Designer will be based out of the New York office. He/She will report to our Sr. Creative Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Able to take high-level direction of a client's needs to produce engaging interactive ads
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery
  • Able to improvise on RFP mocks with little to no creative assets
  • Solve problems creatively and be able to compromise without impacting the work
  • Work within our brand identity to create promotional elements and identities


  • 2-3 years experience creative agency / advertising agency
  • Ability to work in Celtra
  • Mobile ad design experience
  • A strong portfolio
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of After Effects and other video editing software
  • Understanding of typography, animation and layout
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of best practice image compression and asset extraction
  • Expert eye for detail and pixel perfection; no detail is too small or insignificant
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Can clearly articulate design decisions
  • Can transform high-level business needs into engaging creative
  • Rich media ad experience
